Pamplona, Spain
The running of the bulls (known as the San Fermin Festival) in Pamplona, Spain begins every year on July 6th. People run through the narrow streets of the old center of town every morning for 7 days at 8am. We were only able to see the last running on July 14th and the closing ceremony that evening.

Valencia, Spain
Valencia is best known for being the first to create Paella and Horchata, but there is a lot more to this old city than narrow alleys and simmered rice. Valencia is a great example of on of our favorite things about Spain- the balance between history and modernism. Valencia's new Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències complex looks like something from outer space and is located just across the street from the old town dating back to 137 BC! We were lucky enough to watch Spain win the World Cup for the first time in history in this great city and enjoyed the festivities that followed!
